This is kind of an embarrassing topic... I have been sexually active for a while, and after I have intercourse my vagina begins to have this throbbing pain ( && It lasts sometimes for days)!! Just recently, as well as the throbbing pain, the vaginal skin around the opening of the vagina has began to peel, it is sore, and when I flex the muscles it feels like excess skin is in or near the opening and it tingles. I don't know what is wrong... I do, however, know it isnt associated with an STD... Does anyone have any idea what it could be??
I would be so relieved to have some idea
On what it is, and if anyone has any ideas
On how to relieve it, I would be so thankful
To know!
Thank you so much.

You had the nova Ring removed, right? Did you find out if you are pregnant? Could you be allergic to whatever means of birth control you are using?

I did remove the ring, and I put a new one in. no I am not pregnant, I am sure of that and even when I had it in before, I never had a reaction to it like this

I'm saying that some other means - spermicide, something like that - could be causing the problem.
