Hi there
Am just wondering if anyone has heard of this as it is happening to my daughter and am very worried
She fell over in feb and grazed her head. There was no blood but a scab formed. It grew rather big so took her to the nurse and she told me to pull it off. Did that twice but still kept growing back.
We got a hospital appointment for the 15th of July when they took it off and did some miner electrolysis to stop it growing back. Unfortuately it has and is about the size of a 50p piece. Its has grown very hard and grows very quick.
If anyone has heard of this could they please let me know as am worried sicka and have no idea of what it can be. Was told by hospital that it is an overgrowth but they treated it for that and didn't work
Thank you for taking the time to read this

Quit picking it. Often picking scabs does make them worse and prolongs them healing.
Ask the dr when you take her.

We only picked it off twice as the nurse originally though that would do it. We have been back doctors who wrote to the hospital but we are still waiting for our second appointment. Am just so worried while we are waiting as it seems to take ages for appointments to come through and we have no idea of what it could be.
Its also just keeps growing for months when left

I should maybe explain the scab a bit more, its not like normal scabs.
It grows outwards as well as across and grows about a cm each week. It is really hard and solid and differents colours. When they took it off at the hospital there was only a tiny area that was wound the rest was clean but the scab had just grown across it
