But they do have the freedom to protest and express their opinon, though I may disagree.

George : free speech is not the same as agreeing or supporting with whatever is posted or published.

The US "freedom of speech" means that if one side wants to publish something wrong and/or stupid, they are free to do so, but the opposing side may counter that with publishing something wrong and/or stupid also, and they are free to do so too.

Unfortunately McCain would probably side with Obama on this issue. McCain-Feingold being the ultimate violation of the 1st Amendment .
As far as Obama's relationship with Ayers... he still has some splainin to do . His line that Ayers was a casual acquaintance was bunk. As often happens ;Obama needs at least 3 attempts at explanation with some attacks like the above thrown in (for violating Obama Rules #4) to come close to the truth . Then he tosses them under the bus.

As NO points out, the lefties have an on-going project to resurrect the "fairness doctrine" which would be used to silence conservative talk shows. They can't make a success of anything to compete, so they want to silence the opposition. That is definitely un-American and hypocritical, regardless of WHO does it.
