I am a clarinetist who has made literally dozens of recorded live concerts which I would like to make available to viewers of my site at no cost. I own a MAC computer and have compact discs of all of my concerts. I need to know how to get them into a sendable state.Specifically, I need to know how to download to the MAC, then how to give them an address and finally how to list these recordings, and their addresses on my site.

I'm not a MAC person, but I'm sure there is software (probably built into the MAC (maybe iTunes?)) that can rip tracks from your CDS into MP3s. Then just upload the MP3s to your WEB site.

If you already have them on Cd's then you put the Cd's into your Mac and copy them to a new folder that you create. If you have a website, and if the format of the website allows you to upload individual sound files of any kind, then you upload the files. You can manage the files from there as to how to organize and list them.

You don't really have to convert them to some type of file format if you already are able to play them on your computer. Whether someone else will be able to listen to the via clicking on the links to them on your website will depend on what kind of programs they have for listening to music in their computers.

It sounded like in your post that you already have a website. Do you?

Also, you mention "concert". How long would you say that your average concert has been in terms of minutes, please?

Thanks!
