My grand am will not start. It's sounds like it is not getting enough gas. We changed the fuel filter and we know that the fuel pump is working. Well I guess that it is I can hear it come on when I turn the car on. When it stop working my husband was driving the car and he stop on a hill. He started the car and backed it down the hill and turn it off. When he goes to start it again it will not start. I really need some help here. My husband does not know how to work on a car and I really want my car back. So my question is what can be wrong with it?

. Test all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or multimeter:

. Check for codes.

. Check for spark. If there's no spark, focus on the coil packs and Ignition Control Module.

. Ensure platinum spark plugs (ACDelco only) have been changed in the last 50,000 miles.
