I have a rather complicated situation. I am 62, and my wife is 63.
Due to my wife's medical problems (and bills), she and I had to file chapter 7 and it was granted in 2001.
17 mn.s ago my health failed and I had to go on disability from my job as a minister. My denominations disability Ins. Has been paying me $2,200 a mn. This has allowed me to pay all my bills on time, and keep my credit rating score at about 600, with the only negative notes being from my chap 7 filing. It's been tight, with little left over. I've filled for SS disability and it is in the 3rd review process and could take another year to decide.
The problem is that the privite disability insurance I'm receiving will most likely cease in Dec.(after 24 mn.s), while my SS application won't be decided for another 12 mns. The good thing is that I will be 63 in Dec. and I can switch to early retirement for both my denomination and the SS. By doing this I will receive SS retirement income, and pension money. The total being about the same that I am receiving now from the denominations disability insurance. There's only one real problem. If I change from disabeled status, I would be taking early retirement and I will have to pay a major portion of my medical insurance cost. This will be about $600/mn. That's about the same amount as what I pay each month for credit card bills (total owed is $15,000). Thus, I won't be able to keep making my payments on the CC bills.
We rent a home, drive a 12 yr. old car, all our income is Social Security and pension, with health problems preventing both myself, and my wife, from working. We have a lot of "junk" but nothing of any real value.
My question is: Since it's not been long enough from our previous bankruptcy to file for chapter 7 again, what would be the best thing to do in regards to the Credit card bills that I will no longer be able to pay.
Thanks for your help.

You can look into a chapter 13 bankruptcy where it allows you to make payments according to your income. But also there is nothing really that the credit card companies can do to you if you just stopped paying them.

But first get on a budget and mean it, you are in this trouble because you lived off credit cards, you have 15000 in debt from a 5 year period.

And not soundling wrong, I would ask what the disability is, since I can not think of much that would stop someone from being able to be a pastor,
You can do it from a wheel chair, not being able to speak is about the only thing I could think of, since I have a friend who is blind and a priest also.
