I never set my pool at a completely level spot! Will this really hurt anything or will it do OK its about 3-5 inches unlevel maybe a little less?

Unfortunately, it affects everything. It affects your supports, the walls, etc. It also of course affects the water level, which can affect yours skimmer. I don't know for sure what the long-term affects are, but I wouldn't recommend it. It would be a shame for the supports to give way, and the walls collapse. I'm not sure that a few inches would cause that, but it would put undo stress on those supports on the lower end.
I hope that your intake skimmer is not on the high end. That will make it very difficult to keep enough water in the pool to keep the skimmer water level correct.
I'm sure that is probably not what you wanted to hear, but hopefully it will help.

That is ahuge out of level installation. Why so bad? Nothing can be done now but at the end of the seaon I'd drain the pool, level the base and get water back into the pool before the liner shrinks, it is likely that the liner will be shot.
