I have a O General controller that I want to replace. The unit is strictly for Air con ( No Heating) . I have three wires coming out from the Wall. Black , Red and White , but I am not sure how to hook them up to a new hunter programmable thermostat , which has G,RH, RC, Y/O , W/B and Y1
The current unit has separate fan controls ( High Low and Auto ) as well as A/C
Can some one please help .

Take that off your list of things to do. The controller is specific to work with the circuit board in the unit. The thermostat you have could be made to work but you better hire a real smart HVAC professional to do the change over.

Note it will be cheaper just to replace the general controller.
