My Frigidaire gas dryer --Model FDGB23RG52 -- runs normally for about 10 minutes and then the heat shuts off. If I turn the dryer off, wait a few minutes, and turn it back on, it again heats about 10 minutes. I've disconnected the duct from the back of the dryer to no avail. I've felt the back of the dryer while it does heat and it feels awfully hot. Any suggestions ?

More than likely you one of the temperature sensors is shot.

Hey Don -- Turned out to be the coils. Took me less than 5 minutes and 30 bucks and I got a new dryer back. I threw my last dryer out 5 yrs ago for the same problem. Could kick myself now.

Hey Jimmyboy,
Why the negative hit?

Don, I also get negative hits from first timers. Just trying to help them. They don't know the troubleshooting involved in repairs. What's up with this?
