My father died February of 08' my aunt and uncle got guardianship of both me and my brother.I am 16 years old going to be 17 in February, I had my little girl in may and now my guardians are telling me if I don't do everything they say (which includes not seeing or talking to my child's father or letting him see her) then they'll put me in to a faster home and put my child into another. They also won't let me get amancipated or married when I turn 17 even though they contiuasly say how much they with I was 18. So my questions are can my child's father's parents get guardianship of me? And can my aunt and uncle legally put both me and my daughter in different faster homes.

If I'm not mistaking in Oregon you are considered emancipated at 6 months pregnant... Hopefully there will someone who knows more in here soon.

On the flip side, its not hard to get emancipated in Oregon. I did it at 15.

**EDIT**I just read that NO you are not considered emancipated just because you are pregnant, I was wrong.

Thank you. I'll have to look into that.

Definitely.. I'll do a little research and post my findings in a little while... I also want to point out that you don't need their permission to get emancipated.
