I'm 39 years old & married with two children. My husband had a vasectomy 2 1/2 years ago. Currently, my period is over 3 weeks late. I have done an HPT every week since my period was due and they were all negative. This has never happened before, other than the two times I was pregnant.

It feels like my period is arriving daily, but nothing has happened... sore breasts & just that mild crampy feeling.

I have an appt to see my GYN in a couple weeks. In the meantime, any clue? Is this a normal part of aging?

I'm not on any birth control and haven't been since my husband got fixed. Prior to that, I was on the pill.

Hormone imbalance?

HI Red' well... I was about to say , could you be pregnant, until I read further on, having said that it has been known vasectomy or not.

Could be hormones, I think you're a bit young for the menopause although women do have that quite young sometimes.

The dates are right I suppose! Have you been a bit stressed lately or feeling unwell, sometimes that will mess your periods around a bit.

You do seem to have all the symptoms of a period coming ,so maybe it will turn up yet.

If your concerned I would go visit your GP and see what he advises.
