How would I go about trimming bamboo roman shades without damaging them? I have 2 windows that are not exactly 72" so I need to cut about 1/2 to 3/4" off both blinds.

Home Depot cuts blinds at the store when you purchase certain in-stock brands, maybe they can cut them for you.

TDK, I've never trimmed bamboo roman shades before but I trim regular vinyl and aluminum blinds all the time on my power miter saw. I pull them up tight and then wrap blue painter's tape around my mark tight on both sides of the cut to hold everything in place. The first time I did it I was envisioning pieces of blinds flying all over my shop like projectiles but the cut went through smooth as butter with nothing coming apart.
