Is it bad to have contractions in water? Would water go in?

There is no harm at all in having contractions while in water. Some women even say that being in water reduced the pain of the contractions.

Rick is right. I have even heard of some people giving birth underwater (like on purpose) so it mustn't be harmful.

Hi don't worry about having them in water there is no prob at all when I was in labour with my son they told me to have warm bath it stop my contractions getting as painfully as they were out of the water and it helped me to relaxed it brings your labour on more quick though.

Well stars, in that case, please be more explicit. Try not to use the title bar as part of your question and try to explain what it is you want to know.

People have had orgasms in water and out of water. As long as the water is clean and bacteria-free you should have no worries. I just would not make a daily habit of it since too much water can reduce the mucous lining that protects you and your body from germs and harm.
