So a friend of mine asked my advice on this, and I couldn't really give her an answer since I'm not well versed in this field, but I know some of my fellow AMHD'ers could help:

"I have a little bump on one my vagina lips. I scratched it and it got bigger. It's not a zit. I keep clean. Not an ingrown hair. Seems like a bump. It's not going away. It's been there for a few days. I've only had one sexual partner in the last three years. What is this?"

Your answers will be relayed to her. And I will relay back.

Well, we know that... but we want a little insight now, if possible... to ease her concerns until she can get in on Tuesday...

I've read that this could be the start of HPV, she's had the first shot, but never went back for the other two... Could this have something to do with it..

It could be hpv related. The human papiloma virus can be in the form of warts. I had one on my hand for as long as I can remember, I mean I was probably in grade school when I noticed it. When I was at the gynecologist when I was 18 he told me I had hpv and asked if I had any warts on my hands and I showed it to him. He said it doesn't even have to be sexually transmitted. Just holding hands with someone they could get a wart on their hand. He froze mine off and it hasn't come back and I've had all 3 shots now so I don't get any other kind of hpv. There are 4 very high risk forms of it and many others that aren't. I could go on about it. My doctor talked my ear off about it because I was so freaked out. If your friend does have hpv, I will most likely be able to make her feel better if she wants further information.
