Hi everyone,

Firstly, I do believe in God, always will, so this post is not about changing my belief, but in the interest of learning more about the Wiccan religion.

This religion (is that the right term?) has always interested me. I have googled it, and found allot of info, but I would love to talk to someone who actually follows this belief.

I don't know if this is in the right forum, if not, I apologize.

I would like an informative rational discussion, anything that you can tell me about this fascinating religion.

I look forward to hearing from everyone and anyone that can give me some insight about this.

Thank you. :)

I don't know much about it, but I work with a guy who's wife practices wiccan.

He suggested, I suggest this site for your review:

Witchway.net

The wiccan religion, contrary to popular belief, revolves entirely around nature and the energy which nature gives off. Wiccans believe in the creation of remedies by combining different ingredients found in nature. These remedies can cure anything from a head ache to, in their belief, bad luck.
The hollywood potrayal of wiccans makes them out to be broom riding witches that believe in eating little children. This misconception has troubled people in the Wiccan community because it is insulting to be associated with such a negative immage.
There is a darker side to the religion, as they do believe in cursing others. But that is general not encouraged by fully established Wiccan churches. If anyone is interested in joining the Wiccan religion, there are a lot of informative reads pertaining to it at your local bookstore. I personally am not Wiccan, but I did date a Wiccan once.
I even tried concocting some remedies of my own, my kitchen has never smelled worse (well, maybe except for when certain people cook in it :-) .
