It's easy to advertise for free on the Internet and to promote your website business, or anything that you are wanting to sell! You just need to know the keywords to use as well as the Internet sites where you can advertise for free that get the best results when people do searches for things on the Internet. It takes time to set up the ads and/or the websites initially, but you will get results if you use the right words.

One thing that is important is to remember is that people aren't going to be looking for you by your name or even the name of your business, but will be looking for the service or products that you will be providing in the location where it is most easy for them to procure them.

I have a number of small businesses that I run. Most of the business that I get is from the free ads that I have placed on the Internet as well as words that I have placed in my websites.

Some of the best places to advertise for free for your website, business or things that you might be trying to sell are listed on the following links.

I've found the best place to advertise is classified ads sites. They're usually free for personal users, easy to use, and you can include a link to your website. My personal favourite (as you can probably tell from my username) is Flog.co.uk (http://www.flog.co.uk). It's refreshingly easy to do, you don't have to sign up or register and there are absolutely no fees for anything, yet you can still add pictures etc.

Interesting. All of the places that I listed to post are free to use. I will be including your listing of Flog.co.uk in my future postings.

Thanks!

I checked out searching for things in search engines using words from ads that were posted on House of Nothing Home Page (http://www.houseofnothing.com/) However, I wasn't able to find the ads in the searches. My conclusion is that the site doesn't really get all that good of exposure when people do searches for things on the Internet.

It may be okay for people who are members of the site and looking for things, but overall, it won't get the best exposure when people do general searches.

No disrespect meant here, but it really doesn't work all that well. I have done a lot of research on this. There are many sites out there where people can advertise for free, but some of them get much better exposure than others.

All of the sites that I have listed in my post above get excellent exposure when people do searches for things.

It depends what you want to advertise - there are specialist sites for vans like www.vanlocator.co.uk (http://www.vanlocator.co.uk) or if you are interested in trucks for sale then www.trucklocator.co.uk (http://www.trucklocator.co.uk). You have to pay a small fee though.
