We have just brought home a 8 week old white lab puppy. He is coming around and is becoming playful, and drinking and eating periodically but not eating as I have seen most puppies. Is he just getting used to his new environment?

My husband thinks that he is losing weight but I think he may just be paranoid?

Let me know if this is normal and if we should really be concerned?

IF you have noticed loss of weight maybe you should take him/her to the vet this could be normal but also could be a number of things including worms which could be a sign of weight loss & eating pattern.do you know if it has been wormed properly?

I had the same problem with my pup she wasn't wormed properly and we weren't aware of this as she was a very happy puppy when she first got here then she changed and started losing a lot of weight and mopping around.

Your case could be different but please phone your vet for advice if your not happy
