I lost my garage door remote opener. Unfortunately, this is a detached garage, i.e. garage by itself with no door or windows to get in beside the garage door itself.
I can buy a new garage door opener but without being able to open the garage, how can I reprogram this new opener to open my current garage door?
Any expert in this area? I want to see if there is any solution beside break down the door.
Thank you.

Might be a good time to have an access door installed. What would you do if there was a power outage and you needed your vehicle? Garage door technicians can set up a remote but they may need to get in to program it.

What kind of siding is on the garage ? Is the garage door alluminum or wood ? It will be far cheaper to replace siding and sheetrock ( if inside is rocked) than an alluminum door. If it is a wood 4 panel door then just bust one of the interior panels out to crawl in.

Go to you tube and search "garage door break in" It only takes 6 seconds
