We live in Texas and have a Chevrolet Suburban 2007 with a Z71 package. The factory warranty is almost over. Does any body recommend a good extended warranty company.

Absolutely!
General Motors Protection Plan (GMPP) Major Guard with a $0 deductible is the best option In my opinion.
That plan can also have Smart Care added to it. Smart Care takes care of your maintenance needs when they arise.
These plans and their coverage are accepted at GM dealers world wide.
Many dealers are no longer accepting the so-called aftermarket extended warranties because when a customer brings their GM vehicle to a GM shop for repairs, sometimes the failed component isn't fully covered, or it isn't covered at all. This leaves the owner responsible for the balance, creating additional hardship for the owner.
Go to your nearest GM dealer and discuss your options with them.
