My usual cycle is about 35 days. I am at day 48 now. Cramping and very little spotting on day 46 and 48. Sore breasts, been nauseous for weeks, headaches, light headed - but taken a few at-home tests and they have been negative. Am I just late this month, or could I still be pregnant?
Thank you.

As a man, I admit I am not the best expert to answer this. However, at home tests are actually pretty accurate these days. If you have taken several, then you probably are not pregnant. There are a number of things that could cause you to be really late. Stress, changes in sexual activity, and changes in diet are all things that I have witnessed cause my wife to be a couple weeks late. For the sake of safety though, it couldn't hurt to make a doctor's appointment.

Well, the thing is with pregnancy symptoms (sore breasts, sore nipples, tiredness, headaches, frequent urination, cravings, etc.) appear around the same time you "think" you're pregnant... it's another way your body prepares for the pregnancy, even if you aren't... just in case.

To be honest with you, there's no way that anyone can tell you whether you're pregnant... only those tests can. Have you taken the test with morning urine, after your period was late?

It's possible that you are late as well... have you been under stress, changed diet/exercise plans, etc.

Thank you for your response... I was thinking the same, but really just needed to hear it from someone else. Appreciate it!

Also remember that some women do not get a positive result on a pregnancy test for weeks, sometimes longer. Try another test using first morning urine. If that test is negative and you still don't get your period I'd go to the doctor for a blood test.

Good luck.

Well I can't give you an exact answer because there can be a lot of diff. factors causing this. But if this is the first time this has ever happened to you.. judging by how late you are.. there is a possibility that you could be pregnant. Home test are not always reliable. But if you have very been stressed lately or had a change in diet or weight that could also be the cause. Either way the safest bet would be to go to the doctors and get checked out just to be sure.
Good Luck=)
