Sorry that this will probably be a bit long...

I am almost 21 years old. I have been sexually active since mid-march. My boyfriend lives in another state so we are only able to see one another maybe one week a month, sometimes more, sometimes less.

I have kept a track of everything... if somebody could perhaps interpret this... or put my mind at ease I would greatly appreciate it!
February 21-25 period.

March 11 started having sex.
March 13 stopped having sex. (my boyfriend lives in North Carolina so we are only able to see one another maybe a week each month).
March 24-28 period.
March 28 I started taking OrthoTriCyclen Lo.

April 15-18 was sexually active.
April 15-18 spotted.
April 19-23 period.

May 15-18 spotted.
May 19-25 period.
I believe sometime in May I was switched to Camilla because of my high blood pressure. No sexual activity at all during May.

May 26-June 7 I went back and forth between spotting to bleeding, mainly heavy spotting. I think at some point I had an actual period because I did not bleed the rest of June.

June 5-10 sexually active.

June 12 I was put on TriSprintec because Camilla does not contain estrogen and my doctor believed that was my periods were so messed up. TriSprintec is proestrogen and my doctor didn't seem worried about my HBP.

June 17 - July 10 sexually active.

July 3-7 period.
I was out of town when I was supposed to start a new pack and Walgreen's gave me TriNessa because for some reason they did not carry TriSprintec.
When I got my prescription filled at my usual pharmacy, they gave me TriSprintec...

On top of all of this, I am getting ready to move to another city and start a university within the next two weeks. I am so afraid that I am pregnant. My boyfriend and I always use spermicidal condoms and he even pulls out before ejaculating. I take my pill at least within the same hour everyday.

I also have a vaginal deformity known as "uterus didelphys". I have a septum which divides my vagina into halves giving me two cervix's and I have a uterus that is basically divided into two, half for each side. My doctor told me that I should be on the same cycles and that I would only have problems with delivery.

Right now, it's hard to tell whether I'm experiences PMS signs or pregnancy signs. Some signs typical with pregnancy such as backache, headaches, and frequent urination, are very typical for me.

Please help. I don't know what to do. I don't know whether I could be pregnant or if I'm worrying over nothing. My period SHOULD start tomorrow but I have had no spotting and since I've become accustomed to it, I'm worried now that I'm not...

If you are truly taking your pills every day then you should be fine. Maybe its your body getting used to the pills - especially if you keep changing brands. Or it could be the stress of moving and starting school.

One question though... are you taking any other medications? Antibiotics can cause birth control pills to be ineffective.

I originally got on the pill for acne. My doctor put me on the pill and an antibiotic.

I did research and found the antibiotic would make the birth control less effective. Since I wasn't seeing a DRASTIC difference in my skin, and I was sexually active, I stopped taking the antibiotics after about a month.

Aside from that... I don't take any medication

I think that your pills may not be strong enough to sustain the full menstrual cycle. You are getting breakthrough bleeding. Bumping you up to a higher estrogen level should straighten your periods out well. The overthecounter pregnancy tests are highly accurate, esp. the ones that detect pregnancy before a missed period. They run $10. Go buy one, and if negative, stop worrying.
Your uterine didelphys/vaginal didelphys may give you problems when you try to conceive. Do you have two separate vaginas, or just two cervices?? When you do want to conceive, you may want to see a specialist re: the didelphys. Ob/gyn retired.

Were you taking the pill and antibiotics at the same time? As this can stop the pill working I've know idea why you were perscribed the both at the same time! Go down to your local chemist and take a test to be sure! If its negative then don't worry its probably the change of pill this has happened to me with the spotting and stuff due to change of pill.

Yes, technically I have to vagina's...

I was only on the antibiotics for maybe a month and a half... so maybe they were still in my system... I'm not sure...

I'm extremely upset about this. For the past two days I've worked myself into a nervous wreck and been all shakey with just the thought.

I think I was supposed to have started my period today, but there is no blood (yet).
Everybody keeps telling me that the pills just have my cycle completely messed up

Ok, of course it is a little scary that someone can name all the days and times, but anyway, Even if there are no other issues, birth control is never 100 percent effective, We have a couple experts on these forums who got pregnant even with birth control and condoms both.

So if you are having sex, yes there is always some chance, but the more issues with the control, the larger the chance.

I realize that by having sex, I'm putting myself at risk for having a child.
I've talked to my boyfriend about this in great detail and I've told him that I don't think we should continue having sex anymore. It's not worth it. I can wait.

I realize that I look insane by being able to list everything like that. I tracked most of it because he lives out of state, so when we do get to see on another we take advantage of it. I also track my periods because, if I'm having sex, I need to know when to expect my periods and such.

Thankfully though... I just used the restroom and there was a brownish tint when I wiped... so I think that my period is starting today as I expected.

I've never been on the pill before so all of this is so new to me, I don't know what is and isn't "normal"...

You need to stop working yourself up and take a test a.s.a.p to put your mind at rest! The lack of period etc could be due to stress and worry but take a test to be sure.
Lets us know how you get on
Good luck

I don't know what country you are in. The last response said to see the chemist, which is, in USA, I suppose a pharmacist. You are worrying needlessly. See your doctor and if you are not satisfied with him/her, see another one. Your worrying WILL make your period go crazy, as we know stress can play havoc with a woman's menstrual cycle.
