I've applied for several positions as an academic advisor but never hear from any of the universities or colleges. I have an advanced degree and teach in some capacity on a regular basis. Do I need a certificate or something ? It is frustrating because I love working in academic environments and I am well qualified for the position/s. Please advise.

Are you using one basic fits all resume or do you tailor it to the specific job?

Hi- yes, for the most part. I have a standard resume which includes the job specifics for an academic advisor. Thanks
