I had problem with sediment in the water and now my diverter valve is stuck. Now water does not come out from the spout and also not from the spray nozzle. I tried to remove the diverted valve which was supposed to have a screw on the to, but my did not have a screw so I co not know hopw to remove it. Do I have to replace the whole fixture?

Hi Milo DOlezal,
I don't know what kind of fauscet I have. It is one of the cheap ones like Delta with plastic handles. The diverted valve does nor have a screw on the top but it has a sunk hexagonal shape that one needs a hexagonal wrench to insert into it.
By the way, your name is Czech. I am from Czech republic and had there schoolmates whose name was Dolezel. I came here from Czechoslovakia long time ago to play ice hockey. I was on the Czech National Team.
