When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied:
'We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities. For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long way to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as 'Americans'.' (Read that quote again and again and let it sink in. 'Lower your retirement, give it to others who have not worked as you have for it'.

I'm also getting a lot of email by friends and family. I try to read as many as possible and then research. Actually I don't care for Nancy Pelosi, but in all fairness to her that happens to be an inaccurate story.

Here's something that is accurate about Madame Pelosi, while Americans are asking for more drilling Pelosi is ignoring us for her own agenda:

What do you get after almost 8 years of listening to whining leftists complain of Republicans forcing their agenda? Democrats forcing their agenda of course. I didn't realize it was her job to save the planet. I think it's an outrage that Congress busted their arses to bail out idiots that didn't understand their mortgage, but the Dems won't budge when it comes to helping us all with gas prices.

All that aside, it is NOT a good idea to have both houses AND the White House under the control of the same party, particularly with that party as tilted to the left as the Dem. Is. With that scenario, any checks in the political system between legislative and executive are nullified. Not a good thing.
