My colorodo truck seems to stahl out a lot. I took it to pep boys and they ran a test but didn't really find anything. I just purchased a new battery about 4 months ago. The ran the test on the battery and it said good battery, then they would run it again and it said bad battery. So they put in a new battery saying they had originally installed one that didn't go in that particular truck.

But even after the new battery it's still happening.
I thought at one time it was because I was running out of gas but even when its full it does it.

It seems to always happen when I amd going really slow turning a corner. What happens is that the sterring wheel locks up and scares the crap out of me. I just put it in park and restart it and it starts up fine.


Has anyone else had this problem or know what could be wrong?
The truck has about 66K miles on it.

. Replace platinum spark plugs (ACDelco only). This should be done at half the recommended mileage.
. Replace fuel filter.
. Check for codes.

If problem continues, check the Crankshaft Position Sensor.

Is your check engine light on? I would also recommend having a fuel pressure test done; GM pumps are notorious for failure.
