Only your doctor can give you an educated guess. Have you had a check up lately? At 40 it becomes harder to have children, healthy children. So, please make a pre pregnancy appointment with your doctor.

Are you in a stable relationship? If not, it doesn't make sense to have another kid with someone you aren't in a stable relationship with because you feel your "time" is running out.

If you are, talk to your doctor. And discus when you feel you should begin to try to become pregnant.
