My 99 Honda Accord will start in morning or after sunset but will not start if parked in the sun for more than half hour during the day. I have open all windows to cool the inside of the car for half hour and then car will start. I took the car to Autozone to check engine trouble code and found no trouble code stored in the car computer. Any suggestion, I do not want to spend money to have Honda dealership to do the same check up. :) :) :)

You are experiencing classic Honda main relay failure, due to cold solder joints on the printed circuit board. Simply replace the main relay, which is located to the left of the steering column. Easy job.

Did this fix your start prob? I just posted a similar prob that I have been dealing with since back in summer, after I parked mine in the sun. I guess Imma try the main relay replacement & see if fixes. How much was it? Thanks in adv. Jenn
