How can I get my GED free

Check with the local GED program director in your city or neighborhood. Also you can check with your welfare or case worker as to programs they may have to help pay for the testing

Maybe you should try getting your GED online, go to Google and see if you can a link, maybe that would be better because you can do it right in your home without leaving... you feel me:)

This was true for my graduating class, check with your guidance counselor though-
Usually the September after your class graduates you are eligible to take both parts of the G.E.D exam free of charge (example your class of 2008 graduates on June, so sept 2008 you are able to take it). Its two parts and you must attend both. Again, check with your guidance counselor to confirm. However if you can't afford your GED because your class doesn't graduate for 1-2 years or your class is earlier than this past June, I would say either stay in school or get a job. If you can't support yourself in some way,be it by educating yourself or working, then you're pretty much worthless to society and everyone around you. Hope this helps
