Drain water is not evaporating in the tray, has anyone got any ideas please

Hello Teddy

Sorry, but that is not very clear !

Do you mean a tray somewhere inside the fridge, or the one on top of the compressor (where normally the leak water is collected to evaporate - using the heat of the compressor to do so).

Leak water has therefore to exit the fridge to get in the outside tray.
Have you checked the exit tube in the rear wall already? (careful : do not use metal pins to open up channel).

Also : too much leak water indicates either careless use (door too often and/or too long open), or a leaking door seal, through which air can enter the fridge after closing the door, and of which the water collects inside the fridge. Check that one also !
