You should not have to remove the back panel to connect new hoses. If for some reason you do, removal of the obvious screws attaching the panel should do it.

Are you referring to the drain hose?

If so, yes, you would have to remove the back panel for access.

It is usually very evident as to which screws need to be removed from the panel to detach it.
