Heyy! Thank you for taking the time to read this. In August my family and I are going to the Canadian Rockies. We are flying from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and flying into Calgary Airport. But we have to connect/change planes in Toronto. We are flying Air Canada. What I'm confused about is whether our baggage will be transferred automatically or if we have to pick-up our luggage and recheck? I read some stuff and what I read we had to pick-up our luggage and recheck it. But isn't it supposed to go automatically? I don't know?! If you have ant info. On this please answer! Thanks again!

You may have to go through the metal detectors again with your carryons, but I wouldn't think you'd have to recheck your checked baggage... unless you have to go through Customs. I'm not sure what the process is for Canada/US... I'd call the airport or Air Canada, I'm sure they'll be able to help you.

Generally baggage is forwarded through. But each flight and airline has differences so check with the airline.
