I need a question answered and cannot find it anywhere on the internet... I have a cat that is pregnant, I don't know how far along she is. She is pretty big. What I would like to know is, is the birth close if I can see all the kittens moving around in her belly? Because I can definitely see that.

HI, hotti,
Do you have a Vet? If not, take her to the Vet.
Your cat is going to need one, sooner or later. Now would be a good time to start.
Best of luck.

I have never really given this much thought, if I was to take guess, I would say the last three of kitty’s pregnancy. I am not a vet so it would be hard to say, I generally go on past experience. Considering I do a lot of rescue work with animals and most of the cat that I get here are already pregnant when they get here. I am sorry I could not be of more help to you.

Ive birthed two litters myself. My cat went into labor (water broke at night while I was sleeping) both times on my chest so needless to say we were a very close pair.
If you cannot afford a vet right now call your local animal shelter or rescue mission. They might be able to see your cat if you give her kittens up for adoption.
But either way, your cat will know what to do when the time comes. Only in few cases will there be an emergency. So go to the local bookstore, read a manual on cat birth and do what you can.
