Hi, I'm 15

I've missed a few periods, they have aways ben irregular
I have put on a bit of weight, especially around the stomach area
Except it is not flabby, its hard, and as the weeks go I have been exerising but it keeps getting bigger
Now I have been wearing baggy clothes to cover up
I have looked up on the internet and I think I may be pregnant
The last time I had intercourse was almost 6 months ago

I know I need to talk to somebody
But I am too scared
My parents will kill me

My friends have been telling me to exercise and I have been going to the gym with them
But I am getting too scared now as I look overwieght and people will ask.

Please, if you can, tell me what to do.

Take a home pregnancy test.

BiffBiff, first thing. Calm down, and relax yourself. Not easy when you are in such a stressful situation, but if you can just ignore what is happeing for a minute, and close your eyes, then focuse on a picture you remember of yourself not pregnant. (try to let the FEAR of what may or may not happen go away.) Fear can cause you to have stess symptoms which could be like Pregnancy symptoms, that and you can trick your body into thinking you are pregnant.

Now I'm going to write up a few symptoms from my medical book, I have a few to quote from. No I'm not a doctor, but I've bin helping a few girls with this problem lately. So sit tight and try to relax OK... (I'll put wha ti know up in a minute.)

But before I do a few quick questions:

Do your breasts hurt? Are they growing? Are they tender? Do you get sick, nausiated? (any time of day) Do you feel fatuiged even after sleeping, a good nights sleep? Do things that never used to bother your senses bother them now? (like a smell, or touch, sitting a certain way, or hearing certain sounds.) Also, do you get cravings for things?? (foods you normally don't care for?) Start with that, after you calm down so you have a better clearer idea. Also do you need to urinate lots??

Oh, never mind I guess I remembered them all. But yes as Isneezefunny said, a pregnancy test is a better idea, then guessing. A doctor can tell you even better.

Anything else you want to know?

I'll look up other possibilities of wieght gain for you too, just give me a nother minute.

If you have bin eating fatty foods, even if exercising you can still gain wieght. If you go on a strict diet, your body may think it's starving and store energy, as fat. Also if you take meds they can cause wieght changes, if you have changed or started them recently. If you have Kidney, liver, or heart disease, you could retain fluid, and that could account for like 10 Lbs.

At any rate, get a pregnancy test, and I suggest talking to the doctor.
