My ex and me have been broken up for three months now. We agreed to be friends witch is a good thing I think. Well after I kind of got over the initial shock of her leaving me. She came over to my place a week ago we talked a little bit had a few drinks and we ended up sleeping together. This is what's confusing me soon after we finished she said she felt bad and she left. She has said that she wants to come to some of the parties I'm having this summer. I知 helping her pay for school. Anytime I do give her a call or txt,are email her she always replies. I have tried not to say anything about getting back together. I知 trying to give her space. Should I tell her that I want to try to work it out. Am I over thinking this? Should I just accept her as my friend and leave getting back together alone.
What do you guys think

Being friends is almost impossible if you still care about her...
It takes huge self sacrifice to be able to put yourself through that.. Ask yourself how you would react if one day, as "your friend" she came up to you and asked you for advice on a boy she wants to date.. How would you feel?
I'd probably say stay clear of her for a while until you're your own man again.. and stop paying for her schools.. Im guessing she was selfish when she ended the relationship because you don't seem to be where she is.. and when she felt alone she paid you a visit and you couldn't resist... you're paying for her school.. she wants to come to some of your parties in the summer... anything else you want to tell us?
Start thinking about you..

This my dear, is what talaniman would call a red flag! And I agree.

She wants friendship with financial benefits. The only reason she claimed she felt bad after spending the night with you is so that you would not think that the only reason she did was because she feels obligated to jump your bones so that you will keep your wallet and your parties available to her.

Wake up dear. I know it hurts to be used - but unfortunately there are some of us women who don't think twice about how you feel. The only difference is that most women are honest and let you know when they want to get paid for their services.

Do yourself a favor and find someone you deserve. Someone who cares for you and not what you can do for her. Tell her to get a life of her own - she'll have no problem finding another sucker, girls like that never do.

I could be wrong, but in cases like this, I rarely am.

Stay with us and we will do our best to help you get through this. You are not the only one taken to the 'cleaners' like this and I promise you will survive it and will have learned a valuable lesson for the future.

You're too nice to her thats why she can't leave you completely. Minus the "help for school" I doubt if you can even be friends.
