I would like to know what tool I should use to cut a corian backsplash. I am replacing the backsplash with ceramic tile ,but I need to make a cut in it at the serving counter backsplash which I will be leaving. Don't know what type of tool to use so I don't damage the corian countertop

Is your back slash a separate piece from the counter top or is this a one piece top and splash?

The back splash is a separate piece. I must cut it vertically at one point where it goes under the serving counter. Thank you for responding to me

Corian can be cut with normal wood working tools with a fine toothed blade. If you use a jig saw or SawsAll the teeth can't be too fine or it will clog with melting Corian. You can then sand the edge and buff it back to look like new.
