I think my 1992 ford escort has a bad rod bearing and I called a local mechanic and all he could quote me for was about 400 dollars labor. Does anyone know how much I will be looking to pay with parts included. Also does this sound accurate.

I would go for another estimate that sounds high to me.

I think you should get one more estimate but this one may prove to be the best one.
