Here it goes... my son cranked my tractor backed it up, pulled around to the front and got off to move some items out of the yard... got back on and it wouldn't crank... I got on it choked it and all it does is turn over... it will not crank... I started smelling gas like it was flooding... so I stopped for a little while... tried again and it keeps doing the same thing... until the battery went dead rather quickly... I jumped it off and all it does is the same thing turns over and over but does not crank... I pulled the spark plug placed it against the head and it sparks and it does... please help... any ideas would greatly be appreciated... thanks

Check and see if the linkages move when the throttle and choke levers are moved.
