Placing signage of any sort or ads in local printed media of any kind can cost money. I do drive around and put up my small "shingle" though, advertising whatever service that I am providing. You know, the kind with the little pull-off tabs so that people can contact you. I have found that the best places to post these are any place that might have a public bulletin board. These places might be, grocery stores, restaurants, Laundromats, bowling alleys, quick-mart type stores, public libraries, etc.

But, in my previous response to you, I mentioned that most of my business does come from the free ads that I have placed on the Internet. I am also in the Yellow Pages of the local phone book. But, I am thinking about getting out of that because I really do get more business from what I have placed on the Internet concerning the types of businesses that I have.

If you are interested in how to advertise on the Internet, and what kind of words to place in your ads, so that your business will most likely beat any others of the same kind where you will want to be working, please let me know.
