My research indicates there is no homestead exemption in Maryland: "There is no homestead exemption. However, property that is held in tenancy by the entirety may be exempt from the debts owed by one spouse."

In many States once the Judgment is obtained it is simply Ordered and filed in the State where the Defendant is able to collect - sometimes it's automatic, other times you have to get a transfer order.

I see no reason if there is a Judgment it can be levied against your real estate in Maryland. It also appears that the creditor can use any other legal means to collect - garnishment, other liens.
