This commercial shows a young and an elderly couple walking down a treed street. In the background they are playing this lovely music. I have heard it before but cannot remember from where. I would love the music or soundtrack. They are advertising that diamonds are forever. No brand or anything. Thanks for any help you can give, lorna

Gem, was trying to send you a message but guess I don't know how. Anyway progress on my search thus far: the music is from a DeBeers diamond commercial called "Hands" and you can view it on YouTube. I still have not been able to identify the music.

Apparently the music I am looking is possibly derived from Yumeji's Theme. They are similar and both lovely. Google Debeers hand commercial, click on YouTube "Hands", watch and listen to this version and tell me what you think.

There is indeed a very subtle difference. According to the post I've read on the subject, Debeers contracted a private musician to "remix" their own version for this commercial which they did not make available to the public. I've contacted J.Walter Thompson (Ad Agency) for confirmation.

I know for sure it's the acoustic version of "stand by me". I don't know who plays it (acoustic) , but you can find many songs with its lyrics. Hope that helps
