I see in your other post you are trying to lose weight.
How much do you eat a day? What foods do you eat?

If it's an all the time thing that's been going on for a while, go to the doctor. If it's just an every once in a while thing, it might be that you are laying down/sitting down too much. I haven't read your other posts, but if you are not doing exercise (and eating enough calories to handle the exercise) you should try that out... like 30 minutes a day. Good luck

Do you have other symptoms?
Since it happened after you were sick it could possibly be chronic fatigue syndrome or something.

Ah... I had this same problem like 9 months ago. I was anemic, then got an ear infection (which I am prone to), then bronchitis, which turned into asthma, I got hypokalmeic (sp?), etc. After that I started having panic attacks where I would hyperventilate which I had NEVER gotten before. I couldn't figure out why all this was happening, which freaked me out more. I went to my doctor, asthma/allergy doctors, and even a therapist, all of which didn't really help me. I tried to fix it myself, so I took the next semester slow and made myself calm down and stop worrying about everything (what is just is, you take it and move one from there), and I haven't had a panic attack in months. I'm a believer in "you can choose how you feel." Even though sometimes I couldn't seem to control how I reacted, I could always control how I felt about how I reacted (mad at myself, scared, or okay with it) and I eventually stopped hating myself for breaking down and started saying it's OK that I lost it because I have it back together now. I have a new start, just because I broke down this time doesn't mean I will next time, etc. Anyway, I understand what you're saying about being sick, but it might just be MORE possible that it is anxiety BECAUSE you got sick first. Not saying it is, I'm no doctor, but it could be. Hope I helped.

Pleas post what symptoms you had when you were sick and what you were treated with and what symptoms you have now.

Based on little or no infomation:

Get checked for diabetes especially if diabetes is in the family.

I suspect nerve damage which diabetes can cause, so I urge getting checked. If you know anyone with diabetes, all it takes is a finger prick.

The second thing is, you can get autonomic nervous system testing. There are two versions which I am aware of 1) correlates repiratory rate with heart rate and 2) One in which they place you on a table and change your position from standing to layng while monitoring your vital signs and ecg.

Well if you have issues you need to deal with, or otherwise think it will help, I suggest a therapist. It didn't work for me, but then again I could never get past the fact that I was paying (well... insurance was paying) a person to sit there and listen to me talk, which I could get for free by calling up my friends. I guess I was expecting ink blots and word associations, maybe a perscription and a wave goodbye, and what I got was some lady asking me what the problem was. Heck if I knew that I wouldn't need her, now would I? Anyway, if you are still getting sick with random things, I can only suggest what I did, as I don't know any other way, but treat the symptoms with medicine and then treat yourself by making an effort to be OK. In all senses of the word. Physically, mentally, emotionally. Sounds kind of corny, but that's the best I've got. If I may, and assuming it is anxiety, what might you be anxious about?

To Answer Your Question Keep It Real... I Got Tested For Diabetes A Few Times And It Came Back Negative Although My Aunt And Grandmother Have Diabetes. I Got Plenty Of Blood Tests Too But I Never Got That Nervous System Test But My Doctor Don't Want To Send Me For Any More Testing. Read My Other Post (whats Wrong With Me)it Explains Pretty Much Everything. Thanks

Gabby:

I'd like you to do something really simple for me. Before going to bed and before getting out of bed. Lie down. Close your eyes. Hands to your sides.

Clench your fists, as hard as you can. Hold it for about 30 seconds. Let go SLOWLY. Feel that part of your body relax. Wait a few minutes and repeat, about 5 times. Tell me how you feel after doing it. Is the rest of your body tense? Did it help your arms and hands relax?

We have a good group here. Relax. Tell your story.

You could have a sinus infection. See someone for that. If it's migrainy, I know someone that got rid of chronic headaches by drinking something that restores electrolytes, like sports drinks or specialized bottled water.
