My wife of 25years wants to separate, and to be friends only... her parents have recently both passed away.. at this stage she has not moved out completely and says that she has no where to go... will she ever return to me emotionally?. she is definitely in midlife crisis mode, with new clothes and streaks in her hair.. very unusual for her... she is forty years of age. I need advice and answers
Cheers mick

She's trying to figure out who she is through all of the turmoil and change, she's lost her way and you'll pay a price for it during this period.
I know it's hard, but I would suggest you encourage her in the ways and things she's doing to get back out there risk a little... streaks in her hair and all... just don't participate too willingly in her leaving you behind. Join in. Stay at her side and be a light and a counsel.
Maybe you should grow that goatee or work on your abs, too, show her you're open to change as well.
Tough times, keep us updated. This will take a while.

Thats the thing jb, i am keeping up with the pace, but somehow she is convinced of the fact of not loving me anymore...and yes at first i did try to convince her, but now i just wait and i am getting back to normal....and once again you are right, it will ultimately be her decision, a decision under stress.....quote as she said " life is too short", but to me that is just a cop out, an easy way out one may say....and it is wrong...but i shall wait and see what happens...cheers mick and thanks for the reply
