Does anyone know information on pregnant cats? I need to know if all cats show signs of going into labor? Does taking the temperature tell you when she is going to go into labor??

I think that my cat is pregnant but don't know anything about it... I am just going to let my cat have her kittens when she feels like it... I have a card board box with a nice blanket in it. I put her in there a couple of times a day so she knows that it is a nice safe comfy place to give birth.

I made a place for her to nest in, but she doesn't like to go in it. She wants to go under my bed where it is enclosed and really dark. I think she is nesting and sometimes she doesn't eat, which I am hearing are signs of early labor starting but nothing happens...

I know that there are some really good sites on the internet.. I also read that you have to be careful because your cat might give birth in your bed if you are not careful... I can't really help you, I don't know that much.

If she is anything like the cats I have fostered in my home in the past she will let you know. I have listed a link Pregnancy - Birth - Newborn Care (http://www.peteducation.com/category_summary.cfm?cls=1&cat=1366) There is one link called Queening (giving birth) (http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cls=1&cat=1366&articleid=919)There is a spot in it which is called stages of labor, in this section you will find all you need to know pertaining to your cat and birthing. I hope this is helpful to you.
