My ex is trying to say that I am unfit to take care of my son. At this time she will not let me see him. What can I do?

I am a mother of three and I believe that every child deserves BOTH parents. Even if one isn't the best. If you can prove your case then you have no worries. If you're a good parent... no worries. No matter how bad it gets with her, remember the chils first. I know it's hard, but your child is the most important thing in the world!!

Welcome to AMHD. Just curious: were you married and is there a custody order, with visitation, child support, etc. If not, you will need to get one, signed by a judge, hopefully, that you can enforce when she takes these notions.

If there is a court ordered custody/visitation agreement in place, you need to go back to the court to enforce it. If not you need to go the family Court to get one established.

First ex girlfriend, ex wife, ex sex partner or who. Are you listed on the birth certificate, if not, have you been to court to get visitation orders.

BTU it sounds like you need to get a order of for visits, and take her to court if she does not follow it

I am going through a similar situation except I'm the one on the other side of the fence. My child's father is unfit. He's on drugs, doesn't pay child support, won't work, or call the child. He even lies to the child. If you do not fall under any of these categories than you have a right to see your son no matter what she says. It's up to the judge to determine your unfit. Get into court.
