Hello, while looking at my computer I happened across my history and found some things that concern me... everyone in the house says that they were not on the sites that were listed under the history... could websites possibly be listed in the history that were not actually visited or would someone of had to be on that website for it to be listed. I looked under the temporary files under my computer and the date and time that those sites were listed we were not actually home... no one was... any thoughts?

Someone is looking at the sites, and lying about it.

How can I find out the date and time that those sites were accessed. Temporary internet files date/time? My history only says 2 weeks ago no actual date...

I don't think there's a way to get Internet History to tell you a more specific time. There are several possible explanations here, though.

1) Sites are listed in the Internet History if any content from them has been viewed in your browser. This includes advertisements and other media content. So it's possible that while visiting another site, content from one of the others was displayed.

2) The more likely scenario is that someone was viewing those sites and is now lying to you about it. I would recommend downloading a parental control package for your computer. This will help to keep those sites from being visited again and will actually log any attempts to visit them. Free Shield (http://www.freeshield.com/) is actually a free one that you might find useful.

Also the possibility of these may have been popups that were closed and not viewed, no way to tell though

Delete/clear browsing history, cookings and temp files and then keep an eye out to who uses PC

In IE - tools, delete browsing history and delete the files there
