Hi There, I am looking for a job at a local post office. But I have no idea what is required. If you know about what's needed please let me know. I only know that I have to be at least 18 and have a citizenship or a green card. And also that there is a test/exam but I am not sure if it is for all positions. So please tell me what I have to do. Thanks for your time. :)

Go to your local post office. There should be a bulletin board with listings for civil service test dates. If not, ask for the postmaster and ask for specifics.

There are three different tests to work in the post office... I am trying to get in that field too.. if you want to work as a clerk you need the 473 test and as a carrier 460 test
