I don't get this! Two weeks ago exactly I went to a bar with a few friends just to hang out. We sat down at the bar I was sitting beside this lad I didn't pay much attention to him at the time!
We were just drinking and talking among us girls and these two lads approached us(seriously not are type) tried to chat us up, I felt really uncomfortable and the lad who was sitting next to me turned round and said to the lad who was chatting me up hey mate this is the wife of five years! So he took the hint and left.
So then I start talking to my lifesaver who happen to be out on holidays, the same age as me, great personality, great sense of humor! We just had this instant connection. My friend told me that one minute she looked round we were talking the nxt time she looked we were both eating each other! So his friends left and he stayed with me until 4am. He asked me if he could go back to my place but I said to him I don't take anybody home with me on the first night, but he promised me that all we would would kiss and cuddle.
I didn't want that because I just met the lad so I said to him if you are serious and keen on me come into the diner I work in on an overnite shift. So I left it like that.
When the time came to work my shift (I was not expecting him to come in, I didn't care at the time) but he walked into the diner that night with his mate! I nearly died when I saw him!
He was a bit drunk and kept saying sorry that he was in this state! He kept calling me the wife, his woman to his friend and a few of the customers. I thought it was hilarious:)
But anyway when he left he put his arm around me and gave me a hard kiss on the cheek and said to me I am coming into see you the next five nights! He said goodbye and left the diner.

I was hoping to bump into him again but I learnt that he went home the next day, I was gutted because he is only lad that I liked in three years, we got on so well! And I thought I could spend sometime with him and maybe remain in contact.
So after talking about it to others I thought I would just leave it but then someone mentioned to me why don't I try to trace him with all the information I had on him. I had nothing else to loose so I did some research and what do you know I got a phone number to ring. I dialled the number and I got a lady on the phone she told me that billy was her son and I explained that I was trying to contact him so she gave me his cell phone number. I was so chuffed! So I waited a day and I text him telling it was me and I just wanted to say hi.
I haven't heard anything from him so am I best to leave it or do you think he is scared?
I don't want to come across as stalkerish like Alex from Fatal attraction. What do you think?

Please advise me!

I think you should forget about him, as he is showing little or no interest. Not enough to get excited over.

"i had nothing else to loose so i went ahead..."

... That's good.. you liked him, he seemed to like you... so you made an effort to try and contact him.. you made yourself available to him, you put yourself out there, you went after something you wanted...

.. BUT, your actions could be misconstrued another way: he could think it's possibly a little scary that you're tracking him down when he didn't offer up his number... think about it: he asked to come back to your place NOT HIS... maybe he didn't want to introduce you to his mom (not a good sign), or for you to know he lived with his ma...

... Either way, I'm with talaniman... let it lie... you made yourself available, and he didn't respond--don't waste your time tracking him any further...
