Unfortunately, when further investigation of the 'painting' was done (it belongs to my sister who lives 1200 miles away), it is very small and is a reproduction and is actually a postcard. She had never wanted to remove it from its frame and when I encouraged her to do so this is what resulted. Thank you for your help. We are learning a lot trying to determine whether her artwork is real or reproductions and it is difficult over the phone to help her. I assume a postcard reproduction has no monetary value!

A postcard that has the reproduction of an artist's work on it can have monetary value, especially if it's an antique.
Some of the prices that you will find on the following search don't seem to be to bad for something that is so small!
