I'm 18, not sexually active and have been on my period for well over a month... I was at the DR's a day before all this started and was tested for anemia which can back negative I don't know what's worng... also my family has a history of hysterectimes I'm wondering if I may have caught a genetic default. I've never had a very close relationship with my mom so its difficult to talk to her about stuff like this. Can anyone help or relate?:eek:

I am 35, and have periodically had the same problem over the years. I once had a period that lasted for 75 days, very scary stuff in deed. The best thing tis to go back to the doctor. It could be a number of things, some that should be looked at and some that will sove themselves. Only your doctor can successfully diagnose and treat this.:)
