View Full Version : How to get my eyebrows done when I'm super-sensitive, or at least can't take pain

I am looking for a way to get my eyebrows done that won't cause overpowering pain. I had them threaded once, and oh boy that was a bad idea. It hurt me so badly that I cried for twenty minutes on my way home (and I certainly didn't want to get attention that way).
Is there a style of waxing for sensitive skin, or some other service I can get done that would be less painful than threading or plucking them out one by one?
Thanks for any input. :)

I've heard that threading is really uncomfortable. I get mine waxed. The first time is an eye opener :), but it gets better each time. If you survived a threading, a wax should be much less stressful.

I just bought an electrolysis kit and it kills the root epen by Versio, but you still have to pluck. It does not seem to hurt as much as it kills the root.. A bit pricey though $59 and takes 2 months for results. If you ice the eyebrows before and after if helps. Get a good pair of tweezers and it does become less painful. You can get laser done proffessionally which is supposed to be good and permanent. Cold wax is like a tape that is pretty good and one big pain instead of so many little ones and put neosporin with pain reliever and ice immediately afterwards. Maybe your eyebrows are OK and do not really need plucking. Wear long bangs. You can also get an eyebrow shaver, and shave them off. No tears
